"Yes More Please!" by Heidi Parkes won Best Hand Quilting and a Judge's Choice Ribbon at QuiltCon 2025.
Artist Statement: "We joyfully explored the unexpected harmony between "no" and "yes" through bold colors and forms, personally significant textiles, and intricate hand stitching. This maximalist piece pulses with layered narratives and personal motifs - moon cycles, animals, vintage quilt blocks - to form a cohesive, celebratory composition of what it can mean to say YES to abundance. Sewing together in Milwaukee, and mailing this quilt cross-country, we pushed one another's limiting beliefs as we took risks together saying "YES, and!"
