Artist Statement: "This pattern is a combination of Pinwheels and Sawtooth Stars with Pinwheel inset. The border, as well as the binding, is of pieced scraps. All fabrics used were scraps from projects I have created over the past few years. These include quilts, dresses, and handbags to name a few. The twisting pinwheels symbolize how fabric literally weaves itself into the life of a quilter. We blend till you can barely see the seams that hold us together."
