Artist Statement: "Peonies delight us with their large blossoms in our garden in spring. These peonies bloom early, but they also fall early. At night, while watching the stars in the garden, I was thankful for the peace and tranquility of everyday life, and I wanted to preserve it in some form, so I expressed it in my favorite quilt."
