Who's Lucky Now?
Who's Lucky Now?
Raw edge appliqué 12'"x12" Cotton fabric, batting, and thread.
Three rabbits sharing just three ears in a perpetual chase is a very ancient symbol for good luck. It originated in China in the 5th century and made its way to Europe by way of the Silk Road. One of these rabbits only has three feet and so a miniature rabbit's foot was created using glue and embroidery floss. The good luck symbols of a four leaf clover and a horse shoe round out the lucky charms, but Who's Lucky Now? The 12"x12" art quilt was a submission for SAQA's Benefit Auction this fall. Join SAQA, it's so inspiring!
