"White Rain" by Teresa Duryea Wong is made entirely of antique Japanese textiles.
Teresa began traveling to Japan in 2014 and has been back every year since. On these trips, she began to collect lots and lots of antique Japanese textiles, like old indigos. She held on to them for so long, afraid to do anything with them, until she finally worked up the courage to cut them up and do something with them, which became her quilt White Rain. The quilt was quilted with a big stag stitch using white Sashiko thread, which we believe is where the quilt gets its name from.
