"Whirlygig" by Carol Moellers was made using her 2023 Winter Island Batik Dots and Doodles Collection.
Whirlygig was created using a half-rectangle triangle block and a ten inch stack of pre-cuts. It shows off Carol's love of batiks, displaying the variety of colors and designs available that open up a whole new avenue of possibilities to create an design.
Artist Statement: "Whirlygig is a contemporary, jewel tone wall hanging made with my 2023 Winter Island Batik Dots and Doodles Collection. I designed this pattern to use a 10″ stack. It is made using half rectangle triangles and additional Island Batik background fabric."
