Whirls & Swirls - I once saw an Amish square in a square quilt made in red and turquoise. I would never have believed these colors went together, but they just glowed. This is is my version--more contemporary--of a quilt I never forgot. Carol Doak designed block called Laurie's Block from the book 40 Bright & Bold Paper Pieced Blocks.
