Wetlands by Paula Curry won Second Place - Large Quilts: 1st Entry in an AQS Paducah Quilt Contest (Sponsored by Gammill¬Æ) at AQS QuiltWeek - Paducah 2025. Paula's quilt takes its inspiration from two different patterns by Judy & Bradley Niemeyer at Quiltworx.com, which are Cattails in the Meadow and Celtic Sunrise. Quilted by Sherry May, we love the way Paula uses machine appliqué, foundation piecing, machine piecing, paper piecing, and free motion quilting to vividly create the Wetlands of the title.
