Lysa FlowerArtist Statement: "We Got the Beat" is continuation of a "Cassette Tape" (2015) and "Boombox" (2016) quilt series. It's an ode to: lazy summer days, watching too much TV (music videos) and hanging with best friends while singing to the mixed tape that was recorded together.
