"We Complement Each Other" is from Series II of Priscilla Bianchi's Guatemala Arte Quilts.
Artist Statement: "I thought I'd own the lottery when I found these scraps of genuine Mayan "huipiles" (women's blouses). Colors and textiles complement each other. All my Creations start out as "dancing visions, designs and colors" in my mind. Thus, this quilt is the labor of busy hands, loving heart and innovative mind. It speaks of me and the pleasure I found in its making."
