Artist Statement: "There are over 15,000 pieces in this quilt. Fabrics include velvets, silks, silk blends, linen blends, synthetics, and commercial cottons. There are a lot of discharged cottons and a little hand painted fabric, and even some upcycled bridesmaid dresses."
