Sachiko SugimuraI designed this quilt with the image of sitting in classic cars along promenade of gingko trees. For the quilting designs, I made sharp lines along the wheels, created a sense of expansion around the diamond stars, and deliberately avoided straight lines in the feather design around the border to imply a leisurely atmosphere.
