Appliqued quilt of waterfall in Rocky Mountain National Park. I used tulle, batting, ribbon and beads for the waterfall.
I call this the 'Wadyfie Falls' and it's based on a photo I took. For the first time ever, I acted on my intuition every time I wondered "what if I...", and I tried it. I started this quilt in a class with Denise Labadie where I learned how to create fabric with paint techniques. I embellished it using techniques learned from Judith Baker Montano. Other great instructors -- Kathy McNeil, Lenore Crawford, and David Taylor influenced it.
