Vintage Union / Two For The Money
Vintage Union / Two For The Money
"Vintage Union / Two For The Money" is the first quilt that Linda Thielfoldt won a blue ribbon with.
The name of Vintage Union / Two For The Money on the quilt itself with the "Vintage Union" referencing the design and the "Two For The Money" part referring to the back of the quilt, which Linda says is her favorite part and considers it a whole other quilt unto itself so you're getting two quilts for the price of one (unfortunately we do not have pictures of the back of the quilt). When she entered the quilt into Houston, one of the judge's comments was that Linda should consider taking a color theory course. The joke is on that judge though as the quilt from then on continued to win prizes, including First Place in the Traditional Custom category of the Machine Quilters Showcase in 2007.
