Artist Statement: "As a textile artist, I am interested in the aspects of reflection and transparency. The photo of this iconic location by Rick McGrath inspired me to try to replicate the feeling of the water reflecting both the sky and the mountains, while showing the transparency of the rocks below the surface in fabric. Fused, machine quilted, hand dyed fabric and mixed media."
