Artist Statement: "Wanting a summertime mid-century modern vibe, I went to AI and finally came up with a design I loved. After enlarging it, I paper pieced sections and inset the sun. It's quilted with my signature seer sucker quilting. The back uses fabric I acquired from our Portland Modern free table and some scrap strips."
