Janneke is a multi-award-winning quilt artist and designer from the Netherlands and achieved international recognition for her innovative and complex art designs. All her quilts are made of fabric and nothing is painted. The quilt showcased here, Typhoon, recently won Second Place Wall Quilts: Stationary Machine Quilted (Sponsored by Baby Lock USA presented by Calico Country Sew & Vac) at AQS QuiltWeek Paducah 2023 and took home the Excellence in Machine Quilting award at the 2022 Birmingham Festival of Quilts.
