This small, woven beauty is actually two quilts in one. Each quilt is 18" square, held together with beads and bobbins.
Each strip of this triaxial weave was cut, folded, and pressed into a strip that was woven and later quilted. The three different angles and weaving sequences formed the unique design.
I created my own patterns, based on photos of floor tiles. I enlarged the photos, figured out the weaving pattern, then used the techniques taught by Mx Domestic.
