Twilight O'er the Chrysler Building by Susan Morgan won 2nd Place in the 2024 New Quilts from an Old Favorite contest.
Artist Statement: "An abstraction of evening falling over the iconic art deco Chrysler Building in New York City. All of the design elements in the quilt were inspired by actual design elements from the Chrysler building itself, mostly exterior details but also some from the interior elevators. The color palette (inspired by the 2022 Pantone Color of the Year) was chosen for its urban elegance, fitting for a night out of jazz and glamour."
