"Total Eclipse of the Pivot" by Kim Eichler-Messmer was created with hand dyed fabrics.
Total Eclipse of the Pivot uses marigold, weld, and walnut colored hand-dyed fabrics, along with striped fabric from Kim's "imbue" line of modern batiks. It is made from three layers of cloth, stitched together, and then cut to reveal layers of color and texture below.
