Charlotte Hickman has recreated natural beauty again with her quilt, "Thread-painted Hollyhocks". These larger-than-life flowers just jump off of the quilt, coming forward from the multi-colored background that screams sunshine and spring. The thread painting highlights the flowers and gives them depth and dimension.
"Thread-painted Hollyhocks" was on display at the International Quilt Festival in Houston 2018 as part of the Naturescape Quilts exhibit.
