"The Playground" by Geri Patterson-Kutras was featured in the New Quilts of Northern Competition at PIQF 2019.
New Quilts of Northern Competition Statement: "As my dogs and I walked past the local school playground, it seemed as though the bars and rings stood patiently, silently, waiting for the recess bell to liberate children from the confines of their classrooms. There would be sheer joy in the howls of the children as they raced out to climb and swing on the waiting, metallic, menagerie. The overlapping contours of the apparatus created new landscapes of angles and shadows, making my imagination race."
