The Map of My Thoughts Novelty fabrics, bold colours and sparse quilting form this modern quilt, which depicts my ideas, feelings, expectations, boundaries, inhibitions, internal divisions and the process of crossing them. I wanted to create my own "fabric" from which this quilt was made. This time though not all is black and white but there is some colour - like in life. Contact with my quilting buddy showed clearly, that we are quite alike despite the differences and distance. Because we speak the same quilting language. This quilt will be a surprise for Zsofia, as hers will be a surprise for me. That is what we had agreed upon and I can hardly wait to see mine. And hope she will like hers.
