"The Loading Dock" by Mary Buvia won the 2011 Master Quilt Award and 2011 IQA "World of Beauty" Award at Houston.
Artist Statement: "This quilt is dedicated to my late husband in homage of his favorite holiday. It was mostly hand stitched while sitting with him during the long chemo treatments. I finished the quilting, through many tears, after he passed. Bob did see this quilt almost finished."
