Artist Statement: "I have spent my career in a traditionally male industry and had to fight for a seat at the table that my male colleagues got by showing up. Recently I found that the young female engineers who work for me are facing some of the same issues I faced when I started over 30 years ago. it made me realize that the glass ceilings are broken but the ladders to the top are still treacherous."
