Deviating from my Art Quilter roots, this is the first traditional, pieced quilt for me. When my granddaughter requested a kitty cat quilt for her first "big girl" bed, I found a simple pattern (which I enlarged and made minor changes to), located the cat fabric and all the coordinating fabrics (three were from my stash) and a lightly used white bed sheet was used for the backing. I really enjoyed constructing this quilt, and sharpened some skills in the process! Georgia Andrews - Fêteshui Studio
