"The Calm Before the Roar" by Heidi Proffetty was featured as part of the Cherrywood 2016-17 traveling exhibit.
Heidi made The Calm Before the Roar for the 2016 Cherrywood Challenge, the theme of which was The Lion King, and like most of her work was done in the mosaic style. She likes to annually enter the Cherrywood Challenge because it gets her to step outside of her creative box due to the limited color palette required for each challenge. Heidi's quilt was one of the ones chosen to be viewed as part of the Cherrywood 2016-17 traveling exhibit.
