"That's the Way Love Is" is a mandala quilt by RaNae Merrill centered around the feeling of being in love.
That's the Way Love Is is not the first of RaNae's mandala quilts, but she loves it due to the swirling nature of the central mandala. It made her feel very light-hearted, like if she was floating on air, as one would feel when they are in love. To add to that theme, the fabric in the border has butterflies in it, like the butterflies in your stomach signaling that romance is in the air.
