"Sweet Surrender" was named as such because to Cindy Seitz-Krug it looked like chocolate and strawberries.
With each piece she does Cindy likes to leave a lot of area to quilt, so the simple LeMoyne stars that are laid out so precisely in this quilt are surrounded by fabulous machine quilting. That quilting has won Cindy numerous awards for Sweet Surrender, including Best Machine Workmanship at the American Quilter's Society Quilt Show in Nashville, TN and Third Place - Merit Machine Quilting at the Houston International Quilt Festival.
