"Sunflowers" is Heidi Kaisand's own design, made using a variation on a block that she found one time that she liked.
Sunflowers design really plays with a diagonal grid, and was made using all batiks featuring a variety of standout colors. The wool appliqué sunflowers that adorn the quilt were needle-felted on Heidi's machine and then hand stitched onto the quilt.
