A One Block Wonder quilt made from 7 identical panels. The panels were designed b Rubin Design Studio.
I wanted to make this quilt because I love ravens and crows. They are such intelligent birds. I felt that the fabric panel was fun. One panel is reserved for the centre of the quilt. The other six are cut into 60 degree triangles, and then pieced into half hexagons. I enjoy the number of choices I can make when piecing the hexagons, as the triangles could be orientated in three different directions. It is my aim to try to blend the panel with the hexagons to get a pleasing composition.
