Artist Statement: "Under the guidance of my respected teacher, I made my first appliqué quilt. It was designed with a cute tulip that makes you want to sing. During the construction process, I had to redo it many times. I sometimes lost my confidence because I couldn't get it to work the way I wanted; however, I tried to work carefully and sewed one stitch at a time. I am the biggest fan of my work."
