Spring Garden - This is a whimsical wall quilt based on Kim Diehl's design in American Patchwork and Quilting magazine- Apr. 2012 issue. It has pieced blocks and the applique is done in the needle turn method then embelished with black thread for a pencil drawn effect. It is densly quilted in free motion style and it has a pieced back (see picture) with a sleeve for hanging.
It has 2 Corinthians 4:17 quilted in to the border and is echo quilted around the flowers, and an all over design in the center with a medalian on each corner
