"Soaring Dragon" by QianNaFang Studio won First Place - Group Quilts at AQS QuiltWeek - Paducah 2025.
Artist Statement: "Yuefang Chen, Xiaoping Chen, Shanshan Meng, Dongmei Guo, Huihong Lu, Ke Zhou, and Na Yan worked together in the Year of the Dragon to create a patchwork to express best wishes to their country and the world with the wisdom, power, and spirits of the dragon. The idea was originally inspired by a traditional paper-cut prototype of a dragon by Yang Jinqiu and was accomplished in the quilt with mola and traditional Chinese Dingjin embroidery."
