Smörboll
Found online. You can google Fairy Quilt Godmother. Much like a child's book that has the pages cut somthe change the face's eyes, nose, and mouth section, Each person rolls single die to determine each of 6 sections. The instructions guided us through the fabric choices with hair as a "wild print".
i took some liberties by appliquéing my crown and using ribbon at the neck instead of piecing them in. After I quilted the piece I noticed a tiny hole in the face so I glued the purple rhinestone as her beauty mark... Holy Moley!
I gave her the name Smörboll to reflect my Swedish heritage... three generations of quilters. They were/are strong, creative women with a bit of excentricity. She will hang in my room to remind me that I AM a strong woman and inspire my creative spirit.
