"Silk Road" is one of Marci Baker's quilts that presents a subtle, yet fun 3-D effect.
Silk Road utilized, as its name would suggest, some silk in its creation along with some upholstery fabrics that her 3-D Magic! co-author Sara Nephew gave her. The idea behind the quilt was to have the 3-D effect be subtle, yet easily visible when one goes looking for it.
