I loved doing Alex's class but moved across the country after piecing it. Finally completed. Background is duponi silk and the baskets are from my collection of silk ties. Three of the baskets have embroidered flowers and some vintage crochet flowers from an old doilly. My 93 yo aunt made some additional crocheted flowers and I added a couple of yoyo's. The beaded piping is Bethany Nemesh's technique which I have been eager to try since seeing her demonstration. I used some of Cindy Needham's stencils for quilting on domestic machine. Thanks for the class!
