Silhouette - The background is a 1600 quilt (40 strips, 40" long), made of batiks. The trees were hand drawn and then fused to the top. The quilt is free-motion quilted, including the trees that extend into the border. I wrote a Haiku for the label:
Bare black silhouettes...
of swaying stems in the wind...
Stretching to the sky.
