Shouting God's Glory
Shouting God's Glory
This dynamic, attractive kaleidoscope quilt is made of original foundation pieced blocks in diameters of 6 and 12."
Josephine wanted a quilt that was more dynamic than her first kaleidoscope quilt, so she made it with two sizes of blocks that required multiple sizes of triangles to fill the spaces bertween the blocks. Using the same subdued batik fabric for all the fillers made them receed and the blocks come forward. Each foundation pieced block is an original design. The stack-n-whack method was used for cutting the segments of fabric.
Made as a raffle quilt, it was won by Helen Knock. Proceeds contributed toward the Health Care Fund for the Province of Africa of the School Sisters of Notre Dame.
