"Shimmer" by Jenny Bowker replicates the ripple effect seen when dropping something in a pool of water.
Artist Statement: "I had made an earlier quilt, Lost in Singapore, with a pattern idea for a simple block but with a change. I did not want to cut the strong and interesting prints into smaller pieces. This is made on the same principles for the Shimmering Triangles class, and I have loved the way this system forces prints with little in common to sit happily side by side."
