Jean Wells' quilt, "Shelter", was inspired by a walk in the woods where Jean came upon a bird's nest.
Jean was so intrigued by how the bird's nest went together, that that construction sparked her imagination to create a quilt with a similar design. She was able to implement her idea using one of Alex's fusible products to weave the fabric in and out to create the nesting effect.
