"She gazed at the carousel through rose-colored glasses" by Marty Ornish won Best of Show - Wearable Art at PIQF 2022.
From PIQF: "You don't need rose colored glasses to see that Marty Ornish's full ensemble is the Best of Show winner. The Pacific International Quilt Festival encourages artists to delve into the wearable art world offering entrants the opportunity to enter pieces into a full ensemble or vest, jacket & coat category. Fashion will never go out of style at #QuiltFest!"
Artist Statement: "I'm thrilled to have received BEST IN SHOW for She gazed at the carousel through rose-colored glasses, at the Pacific International Quilt Festival held in Santa Clara! It looks like my model "Ellen" (who some consider a little plastic) has gotten on the red carpet at long last."
