"Seeking Balance" was made by Karen Eckmeier as way for her to find peace in a time of trouble.
Karen started making Seeking Balance when many natural disasters and terrible events were occurring around the world. Looking for peace in such a time of turmoil, Karen wanted balance, so she made this quilt that features her happy peaceful village designs housed within a yin and yang symbol to represent that balance she was seeking.
