This quilt is fused applique with hand dyed recycled seed bags, glass beads, machine embroidery and machine quilting.
Seeds for the Future - It celebrates the 150th anniversary of the USDA. It won Best in Category (Category: Future of Agriculture) in the USDA's Art & Agriculture employee art contest for 2012. It is being shown in the USDA headquarters building in Washington D.C. until the end of this year.
