This scrappy quilt was based on the improv log cabins (show 3510) with a center raw-edge wildflower applique panel.
This quilt has 2, 4, and 6 inch improv log cabins as featured in TQS show 3510. The center wildflower panel is raw-edge applique. The back was made with leftover UFO fabric and the ribbon blocks on it were inspired by the method in Lynn Wilder's January 2025 show. I free-motion quilted it using a domestic machine on a Grace Cutie frame. The name "Seed Packets" came from the seedy nature of my stash and the I-spy aspect of the quilt blocks. Many blocks have fussy cut items. Among them are birds, flowers, a bicycle, a seed packet and more.
