Kathy McNeil writes that hiking through red rock country takes her breath away. We'd have to say that this quilt takes our breath away as well. Masterful appliqué and little hidden treats in the fabric keep us interested as we search and explore all the hidden details in her design. "Sacred Places" was on display in the Naturescape quilts category at the Houston International Quilt Festival 2018.
