Road to California 2025 Artist Statement: "Another in my series of quilts using vintage doilies hand dyed by Wendy Richardson and fabrics by Paula Nadelstern, as well as Cherrywood Fabrics. Motifs from Paula's fabric were selected and appliquéd by machine. Several doilies were cut and appliquéd as well. Lots of machine and hand embroidery were added, as well as beads and crystals. Some painting was added as well to accent quilting and add color."
