Robin Long
Rose Window
Rose Window
"Rose Window" was made by Robin Long in response to the burning of the Notre Dame Cathedral.
Robin started making Rose Window the day that Notre Dame started burning, having been to the cathedral herself and witnessed its gorgeous windows in person. When she saw the blaze, her first thought was that the windows were going to be lost forever and she wanted to make something in response to that feeling. The quilt was made using fabrics from her Kaffe Fassett stash, and she now has her own rose window that she can look at whenever she wants.
