"Remembering Summer" is part of a series that Lisa has been working on called "Forest Blankets". It features leaves that she collected on walks which she then printed onto wool fabric.
The plants leave their impressions on the fabric, like the leaves' veining, highlighted by Lisa's use of plant-based and natural dyes to color the backgrounds, which are then accentuated by Lisa piecing the design together and adding her own hand stitching.
