"Raspberry Roulette" by Audrey Esarey won Best Machine Quilting at QuiltCon 2025.
Artist Statement: "Two sets of fabric gradations were hand dyed for Raspberry Roulette. The fabrics are arranged so each gradation intersects with the other, resulting in hue, value, and chroma contrast, creating a glow! The grid quilting is positioned on the diagonal creating a secondary design in the negative space when viewed from afar. Upon closer inspection, the viewer can see that each stitched line of thread begins to shift the single hue of fabric beneath."
